Tenney-Lapham Neighborhood Association's 1000 Block E. Johnson Website
(Summit Credit Union and Stone House Development Proposal)

The proposed development includes a 10-story high-rise along E. Washington Ave. with all commercial space. The E. Washington facade would be 5-stories, stepping back to floors 6 thru 10. Summit would occupy the majority of the commercial space and lease some to other entities. No retail is planned. Stone House Development is also proposing a single line of 3-story townhouse apartments along E. Mifflin, supplementing their already approved affordable apartments, high rise with commercial space and apartments, and a parking garage in the adjacent lot. Summit plans a 420-stall parking garage between the proposed commercial tower and townhouses.

*** On June 21, 2016, Summit Credit Union announced that they will not proceed with this development proposal and instead will likely locate at a suburban site. Store House Development's plans for this portion of the block are unknown.
